The Corbin

For our first NW77th collaboration, we created a custom frame with Glenn S. Corbin, OD, President of Wyomissing Optometric Center and Chief of Optometry at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. With an impressive career of 42 years and a longtime customer, Dr. Corbin was a natural fit for a collaboration. We are thrilled to launch The Corbin frames to the NW77th collection.

You can find the Reading Pagoda and a boat engraved on the temple tips of each frame. The Reading Pagoda is a novelty building situated on the top of Mount Penn overlooking Reading, Pennsylvania, listed in the National Registry of Historic Places and a symbol of the city for more than a century. On the other temple tip, Dr. Corbin’s boat, “Knot on Call”, is engraved, honoring where he spends much time with family and friends.

The Corbin frame is a unique unisex design, with a thin body, round lens shape, and angular, geometric features on the brow and bridge. With four distinct dual-color options, there’s a choice to suit every preference. Color C1 is pink and black, color C2 is grey and green, color C3 is blue and black, and color C4 is brown and navy.
